VPD Board Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in the Ober Evergreen Room at 7pm. Upcoming agenda are available here in convenient PDF format. You can also review past years' minutes on file at the Vashon Library
The agenda is prepared by the Board Chair person in cooperation with other Commissioners and the Park District staff..

All regular and special meetings are conducted from a written agenda.
Members of the public or Board members wishing to add an item to the agenda, must nofity the Chairperson or Park District staff during the week prior to the meeting. During the week prior to a meeting, the Board Chair and VPD staff send out to each Board member the meeting agenda. Reports, recommendations and supplementary information are sent out in advance with the agenda whenever possible, otherwise they are provided prior to the start of the meeting. It is preferred that written details accompany ALL presentations and these are made available to the public attending the meetings. Whenever possible, motions are drafted prior to bringing before the Board and, if timely, are added to the agenda and mailed out ahead of the meeting.
Emergency matters may be placed on the agenda by any Board member, waiving requirement of advance notice.
