Wendy Braicks - Executive Director
Wendy Braicks has been Executive Director of the Vashon Park District for nearly 18 years. In that time she has worked with Park Commissioners to grow Vashon Parks from Ober to its current 18 Island parks and numerous programs for the community.
MAINTENANCE
Tim Lafferty - Maintenance Supervisor
Tim joined the Park District staff in 2006 to lead the Maintenance crew in managing all aspects of sustaining the district's 18 parks and associated facilities. With a background in academic management, construction and building inspection, Tim arrived well equipped to handle this complex and demanding position.
The VPD Maintenance Crew -- VPD's Maintenance Crew is responsible for the condition of all 18 Vashon Parks. They support sports activities with field maintenance by season and by sport. They set up and take down the Park's big circus tent as needed by programs and park users. They set and strike canopies, stages, sound equipment, signs and more whenever a program, group or special event requires it. They clean up, empty trash, prune, weed, mow and beautify all the Park District parks not only with their hard work, but with their commitment to excellence.

Ron Krieger -
Athletic Fields Grounds Keeper
Ron joined the Park District's Maintenance Crew in Spring, 2009, bringing with him over 20 years of golf course maintenance. As Athletic Fields Grounds Keeper, Ron applies his knowledge of 'the green' to keeping the Vashon Commons fields in the best possible condition. His work with athletic fields on school campuses is part of the Interlocal Agreement VPD has with the Vashon Island School District to assure that play fields are ready for seasonal use by school and community sports teams alike.
ADMINISTRATION
Cynthia Pringle - Business Manager
Cynthia Pringle runs the show at the Vashon Park District. She works with the Executive Director to establish the District's financial and business practices, implements and maintains them thereafter. She is also the District's Human Resources officer.
Nancy Brocard -- Office Assistant
Nancy is the 'front door' at VPD's Ober Park headquarters. And, that's not all. She is responsible for assuring that program registrations, payments and general information run smoothly for the public and the Park District.
PROGRAMS
Susan McCabe - Program Coordinator
Susan McCabe joined the Park District in late 2005 to take responsibility for Park District programming from youth sports to yoga and fitness, concerts and Shakespeare on the Green, and, in 2008, the Vashon Kayak Center.
Randy Turner -
BARC Supervisor/Program Asst.
Randy Turner oversees the Burton Adventure Recreation Center, including the skate park, disc golf course and bike skills track. He also provides support to the programming department in the form of Park District representative at special events, sound engineer for concerts, kayak rental services and overall program development.
Steve Schrock -- Skate Park Supervisor
Steve Schrock oversees activities at the Vashon Indoor Skate Park in Burton where kids of all ages skateboard and roller blade Wednesdays through Sundays year 'round. Steve is involved with developing special programs for the skate park and, most important, assuring safety for park users. FACILITIES
Wendy Sue Paridon - Facilities Coordinator
Wendy Paridon is responsible for all park and facilities rentals at the Park District, and she implements tenets of the Vashon Commons agreement between the Vashon Park District and the Vashon Island School District, making school facilities available to the community outside regular school hours. Wendy also contributes substantial creative support to program promotions.
ACCESS
These are the people who open and close field gates, lock and unlock gym doors, direct and support programs and people who use the Vashon Commons faciliities in the evenings and on weekends. They literally pedal themselves around the school campuses on a special "Access" bicycle to be available to anyone in need of help with a Park District managed facility.

SENIOR CENTER -- "THE CENTER" 
Willow Eaton- Center Director
Willow Eaton directs Vashon-Maury Senior Services, a new Park District partner providing programs and services for seniors and their families.
She joined the Center in 2007, bringing a history of dedication and service to seniors. She began her career 25 years ago in wellness and doubles as instructor for Center fitness programs.

Sue Stinson -- Admnistration Assistant
Sue Stinson became The Center's Administration Assistant in early 2008. She tracks membershipo, donations and program attendance at The Center; handles banking, writes and designs the monthly newsletter. Her favorite part of the job, she says, is interacting with visitors to the Center. She graduated from Washington State University with a Communications Degree.
Holly Divis - Kitchen Worker
Holly Divis started a few years ago as a Center volunteer, and landed the part-time position serving lunch in October, 2008. Her job is to assure that Center guests get a hot lunch every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Fridays, she works with a visiting chef to create special meals...at 11:45A sharp.
