Jan Milligan(jmilligan@vashonparkdistrict.org) - Executive Director
Jan Milligan assumed her position as Executive Director on October 31,2011. Staff and commissionrs welcome her 15 years of experience as director of Camp Sealth on Vashon, her past leadership of other organizations such as Volunteers for Outdoor Washington, VashonRotary Club and CampFire USA. She has a degree in Forestry and Wildland Recreation and a wealth of community connections in the Seattle area and on Vashon-Maury Islands..
The VPD Maintenance Crew -- VPD's Maintenance Crew is responsible for the condition of all 18 Vashon Parks. They support sports activities with field maintenance by season and by sport. They set up and take down the Park's big circus tent as needed by programs and park users. They set and strike canopies, stages, sound equipment, signs and more whenever a program, group or special event requires it. They clean up, empty trash, prune, weed, mow and beautify all the Park District parks not only with their hard work, but with their commitment to excellence.

Athletic Fields Grounds Keeper
Ron joined the Park District's Maintenance Crew in Spring, 2009, bringing with him over 20 years of golf course maintenance. As Athletic Fields Grounds Keeper, Ron applies his knowledge of 'the green' to keeping the Vashon Commons fields in the best possible condition. His work with athletic fields on school campuses is part of the Interlocal Agreement VPD has with the Vashon Island School District to assure that play fields are ready for seasonal use by school and community sports teams alike.
ADMINISTRATION

Cynthia runs the show at the Vashon Park District. She works with the Executive Director to establish the District's financial and business practices, implements and maintains them thereafter. She is also the District's Human Resources officer.
Randy Turner

Business Office Assistant
Randy Turner supports business operations in the Park District office, including technology support and financials. He works to develop online access to programming, merchandise and fund-raising.

Office Assistant
Nancy is the 'front door' at VPD's Ober Park headquarters. And, that's not all. She is responsible for assuring that program registrations, payments and general information run smoothly for the public and the Park District.
PROGRAMS
Susan McCabe (smccabe@vashonparkdistrict.org) Program Coordinator
Susan McCabe is responsible for Park District programming from youth sports to yoga and fitness, concerts and Shakespeare on the Green. She manages the Vashon Kayak Center and the Burton Adventure Recreation Center, taking the lead on program direction for both and capital improvements for B.A.R.C.

B.A.R.C. Supervisor
Steve Schrock oversees activities at the Burton Adventure Recreation Center, where kids of all ages skateboard and roller blade year 'round. Steve is involved with developing special programs for the skate park, as well as overseeing the frisbee golf course and BMX track at B.A.R.C.Contact Steve for skate park information or to rent the park for parties at 206-463-9999.
FACILITIES
Wendy Sue Paridon (wparidon@vashonparkdistrict.org) Facilities Coordinator
Wendy Paridon is responsible for all park and facilities rentals at the Park District, and she implements tenets of the Vashon Commons agreement between the Vashon Park District and the Vashon Island School District, making school facilities available to the community outside regular school hours. Wendy also contributes substantial creative support to program promotions.
ACCESS
These are the people who open and close field gates, lock and unlock gym doors, direct and support programs and people who use the Vashon Commons faciliities in the evenings and on weekends. They literally pedal themselves around the school campuses on a special "Access" bicycle to be available to anyone in need of help with a Park District managed facility.

SENIOR CENTER -- "THE CENTER"
Willow Eaton (willoweaton@centurytel.net)
Center Director
Willow Eaton directs Vashon-Maury Senior Services, a new Park District partner providing programs and services for seniors and their families.
She joined the Center in 2007, bringing a history of dedication and service to seniors. She began her career 25 years ago in wellness and doubles as instructor for Center fitness programs.
The Center resides at 10004 SW Bank Rd.

Lisa Fox - Administrative Assistant
Lisa is The Center's front door, and a new addition to Vashon Island, having moved here very recently from Lake Oswego, Oregon.
She brings to her work a strong background in the healthcare field, as a Medical Assistant at the NW Headache and Wellness Institute. At The Center, Lisa is responsible for the newsletter, membership communication and supports general administrative of all programs
