A fun, interactive workshop with Modern Mystery School Teacher & Guide,
Vila Loukas, will tap those parts of ourselves that go unexpressed. You will identify the areas you want to "expand" and, using role-play games, you'll walk away having "tried-on" some new and exciting ways to present yourself in the world! Yoga + Art 
Starts with an hour of Yoga, followed by a Guided Meditation, and segue to Drawing and Watercolor instruction with Wendra Lynne. Workshops happen monthly on Sunday mornings: April 18th, May 16th, June 13th, 9:00A - 12:30P, Chautauqua Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room. No yoga or art experience required. Attend the whole workshop or one part. Fees are: $32.00 for a whole; $10.00 for just yoga and meditation; or $22.00 for drawing, painting, and meditation. Wendra is a certified yoga instructor and member of the Art Director’s Guild.

Masters' Learn-to-Row
An opportunity for anyone 18 or older to learn the sport of rowing. No experience is necessary, but comfort on and wading in the water is essential. Must be able to lift 50lbs for team lifting of rowing shells. With coaching, participants will go from zero to the first, critical skill level, including basic stroke, fitness and teamwork on and off the water. Program runs Saturday, May 22, 11:00A - 3:00P and Sunday, May 23, 9:00A - 1:00P at the Jensen Pt. Boathouse. Fee is $140 and the program is co-sponsored by Vashon Island Rowing Club.

RE-Awaken Your Inner Artist
-- Midge Grace Returns with Oil Painting 
Veteran oils instructor Midge Grace returns with an introduction to the basics and finer points of oil painting. She'll guide you through the process from selecting your subject matter to signing your name. Her mantra is "Anyone can paint!" Classes meet Thursday afternoons 3:30 –5:45, April 1 to June 24 at the Vashon Senior Center. Student work will be displayed in the Senior Center through July. Cost: $120 per person plus supplies. Vashon Park District will gladly refund program fees when they are requested a minimum of 7 business days prior to the program start date. Refunds requested fewer than 7 business days prior to the program start date will be provided only for a documented medical reason or as the result of a significant family emergency. For each refund issued, no matter the reason, Vashon Park District will assess a $25 administration fee. THANK YOU!
