Register for the 2009 Vashon Island Soccer season now through September
The 2009 Soccer Season happens this fall, but registration is happening NOW-- ONLINE ONLY at vashonsoccer.org
(Come in to the Park District offices if you need online help)
Registration runs to the start of the season, but a late fee of $10 per child took effect June 1.
The fee for the MOD league (recreation) is $70 per player
The fee for the Association league (competitive off-island) is $115
Kindergarten soccer registration runs September 1 through 30, and can also be completed online at vashonsoccer.org
This is the exciting world of developmental and competitive swimming! By joining the Vashon Seals Swim Team, your child becomes a member of one of the country's largest, most organized, and competently coached youth sports.
Vashon Seals Swim Team offers a year round, multi-level aquatics program that emphasizes personal achievement, team unity and competitive excellence. The professional, nationally certifed and competitively experienced coaches have established a safe, positive, fun environment where developing & competitive swimmers strive for accomplishment both in and out of the pool.
By joining the SEALS your child will become a member of USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport in the United States, and its Local Swimming Committee member, Pacific Northwest Swimming.
SEALS coaches have over 40 years combined competitive swimming and coaching experience, all are qualified USA Swimming Coaches and members of the American Swim Coaches Association.

Elisabeth Jellison and Lisa Bruce will teach this ancient martial art to people 10 and older all summer long on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-7P at Ober Park. Classes are $6 each in punch card packages of 4, 8 and 12. Drop-ins are welcome at $8.

This year, 2009, Vashon Park District marks 25 years of service to the community.
To celebrate, we're offering VPD Silver Dollars – certificates you can purchase for loved ones -- or yourself -- to use on Vashon Parks and VPD programs. Buy VPD Silver Dollars in $25 increments and put them toward a special exercise program for your spouse or make a deposit toward renting Pt. Robinson for your daughter’s wedding. VPD Silver Dollars are as good as any other dollars, as long as you use them at the Park District.
Purchase VPD Silver Dollars in person at the Park District offices in Ober Park. They are not available online, but if you call with payment information, we can mail them to you.

Vashon Park District will gladly refund program fees when they are requested a minimum of 7 business days prior to the program start date. Refunds requested fewer than 7 business days prior to the program start date will be provided only for a documented medical reason or as the result of a significant family emergency. For each refund issued, no matter the reason, Vashon Park District will assess a $25 administration fee. THANK YOU!
