Board Meetings
VPD Commissioners' meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in the Ober Park Evergreen Room at 7pm, 17130 Vashon Highway SW, Vashon, WA.
When a Commissioners' meeting is cancelled or a special meeting arranged, the Park District will announce it in the local news media and on this website.
As individuals responsible to the citizens that elected them, Commissioners are expected to attend meetings of the Board.
The Board is required, by law, to hold at least one open, publicized meeting per month. However, the volume of Park District business usually requires twice monthly meetings.
Special meetings are called by the Chair as the need arises or on petition of a majority of the Commissioners. They will be announced publicly and on this website.
