VASHON COMMONS
Under an inter-local agreement with the Vashon School District, the Vashon Park District manages the Vashon High School (VHS)Theatre, making it available for public use.
VHS Theatre – the island’s primary performing arts facility, the VHS Theatre is shared by VHS Drama classes and Community Theatre groups. We recommend securing space six months to a year in advance. Capacity is around 300. Click here for a list of rental fees.
"OTHER"
VIGA Shelter – in the heart of downtown sits our own Village Green. The shelter was built for and is used primarily by the VI Grower Association (VIGA) for their Saturday and Wednesday farmers’ markets. The shelter is also used for other open-air activities such as summer concerts and community dinners.
VPD 30' x 40' circus tent was severely damaged in a wind storm this spring. It is not currently available for rental. However, we will notify qualifying community non-profit organizations as soon as it is repaired or replaced for special events. Thank you for your patience.
