Welcome, Seniors!

Vashon Park District Commissioners and Vashon Senior Center's active board recently joined forces, making the Senior Center a Park District partner. This partnership is evolving and will eventually include joint programs, events and classes.

In the meantime, VPD will manage payroll and staff supervision at The Center. The Park District will not provide the Senior Center with any additional funding.

The Center will fund its activities with King County's very generous allottment for 2009 and fund-raising by its membership.  The King County dollars result from Council representative Dow Constantine's constant support. Please give generously to Senior Center fund-raising events. Or simply write a check to Vashon-Maury Senior Services and mail it to P.O. Box 848, Vashon, WA 98070
