Looking for a bio-break? Permanent restrooms are few and far between on Vashon and Maury Islands because they're so very expensive, but there are ample portable restrooms in most parks on the island. They are clean and well-maintained at your service. Here's the list of parks with portable restrooms on the Islands:
Wingehaven Park-- only cleaned in spring and summer
Vashon Elementary School athletic fields- during athletic seasons only
Ober Park (permanent restroom inside the Park District offices)
Village Green (currently portable, will have a permanent restroom soon)

Vashon Commons on the school campuses
Paradise Ridge Park

Tramp Harbor
Burton Adventure Recreation Area
Jensen Point on the Burton Peninsula (a lovely, new permanent restroom)
Point Robinson Park
Dockton Park on Maury Island -- a 'real' bathroom operated by King County
