Parks -- View

The real question is "Where don't we have a view?" Because we're an island, most of the parks on Vashon-Maury have spectacular views. Some reveal Mt. Rainier on good days, even not-so-good days. Others display Seattle, some the Olympic Peninsula and the Olympic Mountain range. Here are the parks with a view from Vashon-Maury Islands:
North End Boat Ramp -- views of Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula
Wingehaven Park - stunning view of Seattle, especially at night
Fern Cove -- Across Colvos Pass to the Olympic Peninsula & Gig Harbor
Fisher Pond -- Boasts its own view of this bird sanctuary inland pond
Tramp Harbor -- view of Seattle
Lisabeula -- Gig Harbor and Colvos Pass
Jensen Point -- Mt. Rainier view
Point Robinson -- Mt. Rainier and whales in winter
Maury Island Park -- Expansive views of Seattle, Tacoma and surrounding waters
Dockton Park- Comprehensive view of Quartermaster Harbor
Inspiration Point - Straight to Mt. Rainier on good days
Lost Lake - Mt. Rainier, Tacoma and passage waters
Spring Beach - Olympic Peninsula and the Olympic Mountain Range
