Fern Cove

An estuarine, freshwater, and terrestrial conservancy located on the northwest end of Vashon Island on Westside Highway Southwest. The site includes 13.5 acres of forested uplands, 2 creeks, and 730 linear feet of Puget Sound shoreline encompassing an estuary complex and marine fan delta. 

The property includes the historic 1912 Smith-Baldwin House and the Carriage House. The exterior and great room of the Smith-Baldwin House and the exterior of the Carriage House have been designated an historic landmark by the King County Landmarks & Heritage Commission.  Another house, built in 1937, has been demolished and removed.
